We cover the full Western Cape — Cape Town, Northern Suburbs, Southern Suburbs, Atlantic Seaboard, Cape Flats, West Coast, Helderberg and the Cape Winelands. Our two walk-in shops are in Mitchells Plain and Atlantis.

Do you work on residential and commercial sites?

Accepted Answer

Both. We install and maintain DSTV for homes, guest houses, hotels, restaurants, sports bars, schools, offices and body-corporate complexes.

How do I pay?

We accept EFT and card. Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise arranged in advance for commercial accounts.

Do you offer a workmanship guarantee?

Accepted Answer

Yes — installations carry a workmanship guarantee, and supplied decoders come with the manufacturer's warranty.

Can I bring my decoder into your shop for repair?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome at both our Mitchells Plain (Westgate Mall) and Atlantis (Jolly Jacks Building) shops during working hours.

Do you handle Extra View setups across multiple rooms?

Yes — this is one of our most common installations. We size the LNB, run the cabling and link the decoders through DSTV.

What if my DSTV problem is with the subscription and not the equipment?

We can identify whether the issue is technical or account-related on site, and guide you through what to raise with DSTV directly.

New DSTV Installations: How long does a new DSTV installation take?

Most residential installations are completed in 1–2 hours, depending on cable runs and dish access.

New DSTV Installations: Do you supply the dish and decoder?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we can supply and install everything, or install equipment you've already purchased.

New DSTV Installations: Do you install for tenants and landlords?

Yes. We handle both, and can provide an invoice suitable for reimbursement.

DSTV Decoder Installations: Do I need a separate dish for a new decoder?

Not usually — a Smart LNB can feed multiple decoders from one dish. We'll confirm on site.

DSTV Decoder Installations: Can you activate my decoder for me?

We can guide you through activation on site so you leave the appointment with a working service.

Decoder Upgrades: Will I lose my recordings?

Accepted Answer

Recordings live on the decoder's drive, so they don't transfer between units. We'll explain your options before we swap.

Extra View Installations: Does Extra View cost extra on my DSTV account?

Yes — DSTV charges a small monthly Extra View fee per additional decoder. We'll confirm current pricing with you on site.

Satellite Dish Installations: Can you install on a tile roof without leaks?

Yes — we use proper flashing and sealants and, where possible, mount to walls or eaves instead of tiles.

Our call-out covers the diagnostic time. In 20+ years we've almost always identified the root cause on the first visit.

It usually indicates a signal problem — dish alignment, LNB failure or a cable fault. We'll pinpoint it on the visit.

Decoder Repairs & Replacement: Are your replacement decoders new?

Yes — we supply new, DSTV-approved decoders with warranty.

TV Wall Mounting: Do you supply brackets?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we stock the common sizes and can supply a bracket rated for your TV on the day.

DSTV Relocation Services: Do I need a new subscription at the new address?

Accepted Answer

No — your DSTV subscription follows the smartcard. We handle the technical reinstallation on our side.
